 Hotel Description:

In the elegant breakfast room you will find a typical Dutch breakfast. The Hotel Piet Hein is set in an ornate red brick building and overlooking Vondel Park. The hotel has a stylish bar and lounge area, painted in pale colors with deep sofas, where guests can unwind with a drink, read or watch television. Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although trams run throughout the city. More adventurous visitors may wish to hire bicycles. The hotel is 500 meters from the cultural attractions of the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum; the less cultural charms of the Red Light district and Dam Square are two kilometres away. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 30 minutes and is 20 kilometers away. The hotel's late 19th century exterior belies its modern design inside. Trains run from to Amsterdam Centraal Station approximately every 15 minutes. From Central Station, take tram number 2 or 5 and get off at the Van Gogh Museum; turn right at the traffic lights, take the third street on your right - the hotel is on the right. All rooms have cable television with an in-house movie system, Internet connections and safes. The 61 rooms are decorated in simple modern style, with a contemporary nautical theme: wooden furniture and simple neutral fabrics.

The island consisted of Maui, Molokai, Lanai and Kahoolawe, which was all once a single landmass. But rising sea levels have changed the landscape dramatically, and have since separated the islands. All are still a province of Maui, but are now considered Maui County. The highest point on the Island is the Haleakala volcano in Haleakala National Park, home to the Haleakala Crater; the largest dormant volcano in the world.

It is a city of romance, fine Italian cuisine, magnificent palaces and churches, and 177 canals where tourists and locals alike enjoy tranquil serenaded gondola rides. New York City - New York City is still the business and entertainment capital of the world. Most of what makes New York so famous is cosmopolitan Manhattan Island.
